JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will play a vital role in supervising junior staff and assisting with the implementation of care plans tailored to meet the individual needs of each resident. Your leadership and communication skills will be key in fostering a positive environment for both residents and staff.

SKILLS

  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising staff within a care environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with residents and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of IT systems for maintaining care records and documentation.
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual resident needs.

  • Ability to drive is advantageous for transporting residents when necessary.
