As a Senior Care Assistant/Support Worker, you will support people with their day-to-day care, wellbeing and independence. You will work closely with colleagues, follow individual care plans and help maintain a safe, respectful care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support with daily routines, responding sensitively to each person’s preferences and needs.
• Follow and update care plans, recording relevant information accurately using IT systems.
• Guide colleagues during shifts, share clear handovers and contribute to consistent, high-quality care.
• Communicate with the people you support, their families and colleagues, raising concerns through appropriate channels.
• Your impact: attentive support and reliable handovers help people feel respected and help colleagues provide consistent care.

Requirements

Required: You will need clear communication, practical IT skills and the ability to follow care plans, work reliably with colleagues and support people respectfully. Preferred: Senior care experience, work in a care home, supervising experience, leadership strengths and driving capability will help you contribute confidently to the team.

Pay: £25,420.00-£44,220.00 per year
