This part-time role includes assisting with personal care, mobility, nutrition, medication prompts, and daily living activities while promoting independence and respect for individual choices. The Senior Care Worker will help coordinate care plans, monitor changes in service users’ health and wellbeing, and report concerns promptly to the appropriate professionals. Day-to-day responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records, supporting junior staff, ensuring compliance with care and safety standards, and collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to deliver consistent, high-quality care.Qualifications Experience in care work or support work, preferably in domiciliary care, residential homes, or similar settings.
  • Strong skills in person-centered care, safeguarding, and promoting dignity, choice, and independence.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with service users, families, colleagues, and health professionals.
  • Competence in basic care documentation, record-keeping, and following care plans and policies.
  • Reliable, compassionate, and patient, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and respond to changing needs.
  • Relevant care qualifications (e.g., NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or equivalent) or willingness to work toward them.
  • Understanding of UK care standards and Care Quality Commission regulations.
  • Right to work in the UK and ability to work part time on-site in Edgware; flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
