The Casework Team, located within Education Services, is responsible for the handling of complaints, appeals and student conduct and the Support to Study process. We have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Senior Casework Officer working on Project Sable. Reporting to the Head of Casework, the role is instrumental in the busy day-to-day handling of all matters related to Project Sable, working closely with UCL’s legal team. You will work in a small team of four focusing on delivering collaborative solutions and data gathering from across UCL academic departments and central services. This role is instrumental to the success of Project Sable.
THIS ROLE IS ELIGIBLE FOR UCL REDEPLOYEES AND INTERNAL/ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES ONLY.
We are looking to recruit four Senior Casework Officers to provide administration and investigative support to the Project Sable legal case. The roles will be managed from Casework but will work extensively with UCL legal teams and external legal teams.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for managing your own caseload in a timely manner. You will be making evidence-based decisions, gathering, interrogating, storing and presenting data to support UCL’s investigations relating to Project Sable. You will be working with a wide range of key stakeholders across the University and with external bodies such as the Office of the Independent Adjudicator and Legal teams.
This role does not meet the eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa certificate of sponsorship under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. Therefore, UCL will not be able to sponsor individuals who require right to work in the UK to carry out this role.
We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible. This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 20% on site.
