This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 1000000 - Rs 1200000 (ie INR 10-12 LPA) Min Experience: 3 years Location: Gurugram JobType: full-time We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Catalog Specialist to manage, optimize, and scale our product catalog across digital platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that product information is accurate, comprehensive, SEO-friendly, and aligned with internal standards. You will play a key part in improving catalog completeness, product discoverability, and overall conversion performance. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in product cataloging, catalog management, and product listing within an e-commerce or product-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end product catalog operations, including creation, updating, auditing, and maintenance of product listings across websites, marketplaces, and internal systems. Ensure accurate product listing with complete attributes such as titles, descriptions, features, specifications, images, pricing, variants, and meta details. Develop and implement catalog improvement processes, enabling higher accuracy, standardization, and usability. Monitor product catalog health using internal dashboards and marketplace analytics; identify and resolve data gaps, inconsistencies, duplications, or listing suppressions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, product, marketing, and supply chain to ensure catalog readiness for launches, promotions, and new product integrations. Lead quality checks and enforce data governance, taxonomy standards, SEO guidelines, and classification rules. Work closely with marketplace teams such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and others (if applicable) to optimize listings and resolve catalog-related issues. Execute bulk uploads, corrections, and automation tasks using tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and catalog management systems. Analyze product performance metrics—visibility, ranking, CTR, conversion, and content score—and implement improvements. Mentor junior catalog executives and support training around cataloging best practices, workflows, templates, and SOPs. Required Skills & Expertise 3–6 years of experience in catalog management, product listing, product content development, or catalog operations in e-commerce, retail, or product-based companies. Strong understanding of product catalog processes, taxonomy, and attribution models. Hands-on experience with cataloging tools, PIM/MDM systems, and marketplace dashboards. Proficiency in advanced Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, bulk operations, cleaning datasets). Familiarity with SEO principles, keyword optimization, and e-commerce ranking algorithms is preferred. Strong analytical mind-set with ability to read data and derive insights for catalog enhancement. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage large volumes of data. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with large-scale catalogs and multi-category product structures. Background in retail, e-commerce, D2C brands, or online marketplace operations. Experience coordinating with creative teams for product photography, content design, and media guidelines.
