Major Responsibilities Complete Category / Product Strategy and Assortment Plans Lead end-to-end new product development and regional product architecture for the responsible brand(s), from consumer insight identification to market launch, including product marketing support, pricing structure and inventory planning. Identify consumer needs, market gaps and value requirements to drive meaningful product innovation aligned with brand philosophy and commercial objectives Facilitate proper guidance to individual countries / markets to build their efficient line-up based on local requirements, dynamics, competition landscape and business opportunities. Explore new product opportunities for the brand(s) based on market understanding, future growth, supported by strong commercial rational and consistent with brand philosophy. Provide timely product marketing support and visual merchandising inputs to markets. APAC Markets Intelligence & Competition Mapping To keep an eye on competition. Ensure the product offering is better / competitive vs. competitions in all aspects to drive increased market share and maintain absolute leadership. Build a robust information exchange platform with markets / countries teams to gain strong understanding of their challenges / market gaps / competition activities and insights. Strategize and adapt overall brand development. Implement effective plan to grow the brand in desirable direction to strive for the commercial success for the brand. Driving Brand’s Financial KPIs Work with markets / countries to drive brand top line and profitability in APAC Region. Monitor overall inventory levels and sell-thru performance of countries to plan and forecast. Cross Regions / Countries / Department Partnership Proactively partner with regional teams and markets through strong communication and collaboration to understand assortment plans, market initiatives and ensure effective execution across APAC. Regularly keep in touch and gather feedback from local markets / countries and monitor the status and effectiveness of implementation and work on solution for any gaps. Share Best Practices from Local Markets / Countries and Other Regions with rest of countries for faster learning and tap new opportunities. Responsibilities
This role is responsible for managing the development and performance of the Beyond Travel product category across the APAC region, leading end-to-end new product development from consumer insight to market launch. The incumbent will also drive brand financial KPIs by partnering with markets to monitor performance and ensure competitive product offerings.
