Learn more at: www.nexgenmedicalcenters.com Position Overview The Senior Medical Assistant (SMA) provides clinical leadership and hands-on support across multiple clinic locations. This dynamic role involves assisting providers, managing patient flow, training junior MAs, and ensuring high-quality, efficient care. Ideal candidates are adaptable, proactive, and committed to patient service excellence. Key Responsibilities · Travel to assigned clinics to provide hands-on medical assistant support and leadership · Room patients, collect and document vitals, medical history, and injury details · Support physicians and mid-level providers during procedures and follow-ups · Perform phlebotomy and operate C-arm X-ray machines with confidence and expertise · Chart accurately and timely in EMR and support clinic flow · Mentor and train new or junior medical assistants · Manage clinical supply inventory · Ensure adherence to infection control, HIPAA, and clinical policies · Deliver compassionate care and maintain professional communication Support front/ back office operations as needed Qualifications Required · Bilingual- English/Spanish · Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) – Required · High School Diploma or equivalent · 1+ years of experience in outpatient or multi-provider settings · Reliable transportation; 75%+ travel · Phlebotomy experience · Computer literate; Proficiency with EMR, documentation, and Microsoft Office · Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills · Delivers compassionate, patient-centered care with a strong team mindset · Excels in fast-paced settings through efficient multitasking and independent problem-solving Preferred · Experience in orthopedics, pain management, or personal injury · Knowledge of Workers’ Comp and personal injury processes Compensation & Benefits · Competitive salary · Paid time off and holidays · Healthcare stipend · 401(k) matching · Uniforms provided · Professional development assistance · Advancement opportunities Apply today to join a growing healthcare organization where your work drives real impact across patient care and team culture.
