This position sits within our Change and Corporate Communication team which forms part of the People, Performance and Culture Group.
Our Change and Corporate Communication team build staff culture and engagement and do all they can to keep our team here at Council informed, aligned and engaged on what’s important (and why).

We’re looking for an experienced, collaborative and enthusiastic Senior Change and Corporate Communication Advisor to help us make big changes across our organisation. If you’re a communication whizz who has a knack for navigating organisational change.. let’s talk.

As a Senior Advisor within the team, you’ll take on responsibility for delivering the communication and change strategies for a variety of high-profile and complex projects. You’ll ensure our people are front and centre of all decision making and work closely with leaders from across the organisation - advising and implementing strategies and solutions that get results.
You’ll also be responsible for delivery of Council’s change and corporate communication frameworks - ensuring our projects and content hit the mark and get results.

OO PUUMANAWA ME OO WHEAKO | YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A qualification in change management, communication, project management, organisational psychology or similar.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in a complex business environment focused on change management and/or internal communication.
  • An understanding of best practice change management and communication methodologies that put people at the centre.
  • Have previous success in leading change or internal communication frameworks and strategies.
