Senior Change Manager - 12‑month secondment Business Banking provides critical services and solutions to small and medium businesses, regional and agribusinesses, and mid to large corporates across Australia. The Business Banking Change Management Chapter Area is a high performing, well connected team with strong influence across CommBank. We enable effective, sustainable change that unlocks frontline capacity and delivers improved customer and colleague experiences. Your role Based in Sydney CBP, this senior, hands on change role supports complex business and technology change initiatives across Business Banking. You will work closely with senior leaders and delivery teams to drive adoption, readiness and sustainable change outcomes, with strong visibility, senior stakeholder engagement, and delivery accountability across the portfolio. What you’ll be accountable for Change strategy, planning and delivery: Develop and deliver change strategies to manage people impacts, including communications, engagement, training and business readiness. Stakeholder engagement and influence: Build effective relationships with senior leaders, delivery teams and impacted stakeholders, providing constructive challenge to achieve the right outcomes. Adoption and transition: Lead transition and adoption so changes embed as business as usual, supported by clear measures and insights. Change artefacts and collateral: Own and develop core change artefacts, including impact assessments, delivery plans, communications, readiness assessments and training materials. Risk, benefits and effectiveness: Identify and manage people related risks and benefits, supporting benefit realisation and continuous improvement. Leadership and collaboration: Coach and support change practitioners and actively contribute to knowledge sharing across the Change Management Chapter Area. What you’ll bring Senior Change Manager experience, or operating at senior level in change delivery (typically 5+ years) Proven delivery of complex business and technology change Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication capability Confidence working in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments Delivery‑oriented and hands‑on, with sound professional judgement and commercial awareness Experience in payments, merchant acquiring, transaction or business banking, and/or familiarity with agile ways of working (desirable) Work in business banking at senior level within a supportive, high‑performing change chapter, with potential pathways into chapter or people leadership roles.
