Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

You will lead the change, business engagement, and change strategy for complex change delivery, to achieve effective and sustainable change and business outcomes. You will partner with Pace Crews, work closely with Product Owners, Business Sponsors, Segment leaders, scrum teams and key stakeholders to understand and manage the change for your project and guide others to do the same.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

The role will be expected to perform the following responsibilities in a manner consistent with CBA’s Values and Leadership Principles:

  • People-Related Benefits and Risks: Ensure the people-related benefits and risks of the change are well-understood and managed, including activities that contribute to post-implementation benefit realization.
  • Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute effective strategies and plans to manage the customer and people impact of proposed changes and projects, including overseeing all related communications, training, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Management: Lead the identification, management, and engagement of internal and external stakeholders, as well as the resolution of stakeholder people-related risks and issues.
  • Change Transition and Adoption: Lead change transition and adoption through communications, engagement, coaching, training, and tracking metrics, so that changes become ‘business as usual’.
  • Development of Artefacts: Lead the development of artefacts, including change impact assessments, change implementation plans, communication plans, stakeholder engagement, business readiness assessments, and resistance management plans.
  • Change Collateral: Design and develop change collateral as required (e.g., presentations, training materials, communications, and reference material).
  • Effectiveness Reporting: Report on the effectiveness of the change management discipline and leverage metrics and data to inform continuous improvement opportunities back to the broader Change Management Chapter Area and Practice.
  • Key Business Partner/Advisor: Work as a key business partner/advisor and provide responsive, effective, accurate, and timely change advice to senior leaders and report regularly on progress and achievement of change outcomes.
  • Leadership: Role model effective change delivery to fellow change practitioners, providing support and coaching.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate across the Change Management Chapter Area and Practice to drive knowledge sharing, learning, and problem-solving.
