Teqniq is searching for a Senior Change Manager to work in the public sector.
35 hours contract.
6 months contract.
09:00-17:00

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • 1 post
  • 6 months – or until permanent Senior Change Manager is in post.
  • Sits within the Transformation Team reporting to the Head of Transformation Design and Delivery.
  • We are a large team of Programme Managers, Project Managers and Project Support Officers, delivering on the most complex change programmes across the Organisation.
  • The Transformation Portfolio cuts across all areas of the authority and will work to improve our services to people who live and work in Liverpool.
  • Hybrid, based in the office (Cunard Building, Liverpool) 3 days a week.
  • Over the last few months, we engaged with a change consultant to help us design an operating model for change management both within our team and across the Organisation.
  • This model looks to embed change management as a skill across all of our Transformation Team, recognising that all transformation activity requires change management as a fundamental tool, with a Senior Change Manager providing expertise for the team and supporting delivery within specific Transformational Priorities.
Responsibilities
  • Supporting our wider Transformation Team to embed change management approaches, methodologies and tools into their toolkit, by delivering change management training, coaching and support to our Transformation Team.
  • Proactively understand the change management needs of our Programmes and projects providing: coaching and mentoring to teams to support; direct support / input into Programmes; or support in identifying the need for change manager recruitment.
  • Support the development of our organisational expertise across our wider leadership team on change management, to enable improved change management across the organisation.
  • Help embed change management methodologies in our tools and approaches, working closely with the PMO team.
  • Pave the way for improving and embedding change management functions, whilst we recruit to a permanent Senior Change Manager role.
