Salary: VPS 6 $138,631 - $185,518 plus superannuation     About the role  The Senior Change Partner sits within the newly established People Change and Engagement branch of the People and Culture division. This branch is responsible for leading people change processes that are respectful, efficient, robust and people centred – contributing to a high performance, values-based culture at the Department of Transport & Planning. Our Senior Change Partners partner with the business to lead discrete people change processes end to end.    Key Selection Criteria The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership in navigating complex change, building collaborative partnerships and managing stakeholders to deliver outcomes aligned with broader organisational, political and community contexts. They will bring accomplished project delivery, critical thinking and co-creation skills, translating strategy into effective programs while managing risk and resolving complex issues. The role requires a strong outcomes focus, adaptability and interpersonal capability to work collaboratively across organisations and ensure services deliver positive community impact.   To access the Position Description, please click here.   Position accountabilities DTP is seeking an experienced change management professional to support strategic transformation initiatives across the department. Working closely with senior leaders and People and Culture Business Partners, this role provides expert advice to enable effective, people-centred change outcomes. You will build strong, collaborative partnerships with stakeholders to deliver tailored change advice and support, contributing to high levels of engagement and customer satisfaction. The role supports strategic decision-making by providing data-driven insights and change advice to senior leaders on transformation activities. You will lead the development and delivery of end-to-end change management plans, including engagement and communication strategies, business readiness assessments, support materials and adoption monitoring. You will prepare and deliver high-quality communications, training content and briefings for senior leadership and diverse stakeholder groups. As a subject matter expert, you will provide authoritative advice on change management frameworks, processes and methodologies, supporting consistent and effective change delivery across the department. You will contribute to the development of repeatable processes and templates that promote an agile and flexible change culture. The role also supports the uplift of change leadership capability by engaging employees in the design and implementation of change initiatives and future-state ways of working. You will facilitate and deliver workshops, programs and forums tailored to business needs.
