Key job responsibilities The Senior Channel Business Development Manager will manage and grow the channel sales business across Japan. This includes all aspects of the channel sales including channel account management, field sales management, creating and managing sales programs, fixture design and production, and all related vendor management. This role will serve as the owner of all channel sales activities in Japan for eero. We are looking for a motivated self-starter that can work in an extremely fast paced environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity and thrive to drive themselves in an autonomous environment. The candidate will have experience working with top electronic retailers in JP with a deep understanding of how these organizations operate; and will have experience working with on-ground store teams as well as be comfortable negotiating with the central corporate management teams to drive sales from both a top-down and bottoms-up approach. A day in the life Design and drive the execution of the eero Japan channel sales strategy Create and drive key channel sales programs, store merchandising programs, and field sales programs Identify net new growth opportunities with Japanese consumers and work with leadership to capitalize on them. Actively investigates and suggest new ways to help customers discover eero products in the channel Builds and manages eero’s relationships with external channel retailers Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or any related field. - 8+ years of professional experience ideally in Japan CE retail under an account management or consulting environment. - Native Japanese speaker, proficient in English Preferred Qualifications: - Self-driven, with ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete data. - Ability to build relationships with external partners effectively. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills. - Passionate self-starter, decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas.
