Bring your culinary expertise and leadership to a meaningful role in aged care. This is a full-time permanent role based in Mildred Symons House, Jannali Your opportunity As a Senior Chef, your responsibilities will include: Lead and oversee kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and safety. Plan, prepare, and deliver nutritious meals in line with residents’ dietary needs, preferences, and Anglicare standards. Provide strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring to kitchen and servery staff to support a high-performing team. Ensure all food preparation and service complies with food safety legislation, WHS requirements, and HACCP standards. Monitor stock levels, ordering, and waste management to support efficient and cost-effective kitchen operations. Drive continuous improvement in food quality, menus, and work practices. About you You hold a Commercial Cookery Certificate (or equivalent) with significant experience in a senior or leadership chef role. You bring strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and safe work practices, ideally within aged care, healthcare, or high-volume catering environments. You are a confident, hands-on leader who enjoys mentoring and developing others. You are passionate about delivering high-quality, resident-focused dining experiences.
