We have an exciting opening for an experienced chef & kitchen leader to join our thriving business.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for a highly motivated lead chef / kitchen manager, that is ready to utilise their culinary and most important leadership skills.
Within this role, you will work as part of a kitchen management team ‘alongside’ our current senior chef, taking the lead and management of the daily service operation. This includes team performance, fresh preparation efficiently while encouraging and maintaining a positive and motivated kitchen.
The successful individual must have a high volume commercial leadership experience, experience in implementing smooth operating procedures, effective cleaning practices and the ability to set an example of strong efficient working, to the junior team.
Average team size: Two senior chefs, one full-time junior chef, one part time casual/weekend chef.
REQUIREMENTS:
Full time role, based over a five day working week.
48 - 52 hours per week.
