THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for a chef who is as passionate about quality as we are. You will have:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with solid experience at Demi Chef or CDP level within a fine dining or Michelin-standard environment.
  • The confidence to manage your own section and consistently produce dishes of exceptional quality.
  • Formal culinary training or equivalent proven experience.
  • An unwavering eye for detail and a committed, quality-driven approach.
  • The ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced service while working as part of a dedicated team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards (including HACCP).
  • A genuine eagerness to grow and progress within a professional kitchen environment.
Responsibilities

As a vital member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section (e.g., fish, garnish, pastry) with precision and pride. Your key duties will include:

  • Overseeing a designated kitchen section, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently during service.
  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting exquisite dishes to our highest standards of quality and consistency.
  • Collaborating seamlessly with the entire kitchen brigade to ensure a smooth and timely service.
  • Ensuring all mise en place is prepared and organised to the highest standard ahead of each service.
  • Maintaining impeccable cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene in your section at all times.
  • Strictly adhering to all food safety, health & safety, and hygiene procedures.
  • Assisting with stock rotation, ordering, and proper storage practices (FIFO).
  • Supporting and mentoring junior chefs and commis, helping to foster their development.
  • Proactively learning and developing new culinary skills and techniques.
