We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the food production and culinary operations in our restaurant. Your leadership and supervising skills will be crucial in ensuring the highest quality of food and service. If you have a passion for cooking, a strong culinary background, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. Housing can be provided, live in and or local renting
Duties:
- Plan and execute menus, ensuring variety and creativity
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and quality standards
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Monitor food production processes to ensure efficiency and consistency
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as necessary
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials
- Assist with special events or catering functions as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Extensive knowledge of food production techniques, culinary trends, and flavors
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
