As a Senior Chef at Clancy’s your responsibilities will be as follows:

Responsibilities:

  • Helping the Kitchen Manager to develop unique and cuisine-appropriate menus
  • Supporting the Kitchen Manager in all aspects of running the kitchen
  • Being a leader in the kitchen anytime the Kitchen Manager is not present, ensuring food standards are upheld at all times
  • Staying current on developing trends in the restaurant industry
  • Maintaining the kitchen and surrounding areas in conditions that meet the company standards and health code regulations
  • Monitoring inventory and purchasing supplies and food from approved vendors
  • Training and supervising kitchen staff
  • Achieving and exceeding targets
  • Assisting and directing kitchen staff in meal preparation, creation, plating and delivery
  • Identifying and introducing new culinary techniques
  • Preparing meals and completing prep support as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Senior Chef
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and planning abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
