Job Description: The Licensed Chemist will manage all laboratory-related activities supporting semiconductor assembly processes. This role ensures compliance with Philippine Chemistry Law (RA 10657), maintains product quality, and upholds safety and environmental standards. Plan, perform, and interpret chemical analyses Supervise bath make up and replenishment Maintain and manage analytical laboratory operations such as reagent prep, equipment calibration, and maintenance Validate laboratory methods and maintain analytical documentation Monitor chemical parameters for process control and quality assurance Perform troubleshooting of the analysis equipment like ancholyzer, CVS and Metrohm autotitrator Implement quality assurance and chemical safety programs Oversee and train technical personnel, including chemical technicians Interface with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits Ensure compliance with the Chemistry Law (RA 10657) and related regulations Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field Valid PRC license as a Registered Chemist (required by RA 10657) Minimum 4–5 years of experience in analytical chemistry or manufacturing laboratory work; semiconductor experience preferred Proficiency in analytical instruments Strong problem-solving and documentation skills Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety standards Travel Time: 0% - 25% To all recruitment agencies: Microchip Technology Inc. does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
