JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children’s Residential Senipr Support Worker to oversee the care and support of children in a residential setting. This role is pivotal in ensuring that each child’s needs are met through effective care plans and a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, experience working with children, and the ability to drive initiatives that promote the well-being and development of young individuals.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in childcare or a related field is essential, with a strong understanding of child development principles.
  • Familiarity with creating and managing care plans tailored to individual children’s needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children and their families.
  • Experience working directly with children in a residential or community setting is highly desirable.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation as needed for activities or appointments.
  • IT proficiency to maintain records, communicate effectively, and manage documentation related to care plans.

  • EBD (Emotional behavioural difficulties): 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care (required)
  • Driving Licence (required)
