Barnson is a well established multi disciplinary consultancy firm with offices located in Bathurst, Dubbo, Mudgee, Norwest, Orange and Tamworth. We are currently seeking a full time Senior Civil Engineer to join our team. Our company provides a friendly team environment, supportive management, and offers great diversity.
Your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining a current knowledge of the latest engineering standards and codes
Making decisions on what needs to be done based on clearly established guidelines but which need to be adapted for varying situations
Providing engineering solutions that maintain design intent and consider build-ability
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Graduation from an accredited University with a degree in Civil Engineering
A minimum of five (5) years experience in the Civil Engineering field
Experience in all areas of design including Road, Subdivision, Stormwater and Sewer & Water reticulation
Computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite, Autocad and/or Revit, MUSIC modelling (preferable)
An ability to follow & manage standard operating procedures
Excellent attention to detail skills
An unwavering approach to following safety guidelines & programs
Ability to think laterally (outside the square) and show initiative
Ability to work in a team
Current Australian Driver Licence
Current White Card
Willingness to travel away from home to conduct project work
Annual salary for this position will be assessed based on the skills and knowledge of the successful applicant.
