Our client, a long-established Civil & Structural Engineering Consultancy with over 35 years’ experience, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team. Operating from their Kent headquarters with around 40 staff, they deliver innovative and practical design solutions across the UK and internationally. Their portfolio spans heritage and conservation schemes, complex infrastructure, marine engineering, and high-profile projects.
The Senior Civil Engineer will take responsibility for leading and delivering a wide variety of schemes, managing client relationships, and providing technical leadership within the civils team. You will play a key role in projects ranging from sustainable infrastructure design to sensitive heritage restoration, benefiting from a culture of continuous improvement.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and working towards or Chartered with the ICE.
  • Proven experience in civil and infrastructure design within a UK consultancy environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of highways, drainage (including SuDS), and utilities design.
  • Competent in the use of industry software such as Civil 3D, MicroDrainage (InfoDrainage), or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to lead projects from feasibility through to construction.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with a passion for delivering innovative, buildable solutions.
