Bennett and Game are representing a leading engineering and construction modelling consultancy delivering practical, buildable solutions across commercial, residential, education, and infrastructure sectors. They are now expanding their civil engineering team with a Senior Civil Engineer who has the technical expertise and leadership qualities to contribute to complex infrastructure projects and mentor junior staff in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a civil engineering role, preferably in consultancy
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D is essential
• Strong understanding of highway design, drainage systems, and sustainable drainage principles (SuDS)
• Knowledge of UK design standards and regulations (e.g., DMRB, Sewers for Adoption)
• Confident communicator and experienced in collaborative project environments
• Chartered or working towards chartership with ICE (preferred)

• Lead and support the design and delivery of civil engineering schemes, particularly highway and drainage design.
• Develop 3D civil infrastructure models using Autodesk Civil 3D and other industry-standard tools.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports to support planning and construction.
• Provide technical input at all stages of the project lifecycle from feasibility through to construction.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, contractors, and other design teams.
• Ensure projects meet internal standards, client expectations, and relevant regulations.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians.
