Responsibilities

Our Energy Unit provides Civil and Structural expertise across various projects including Transmission, Thermal, Renewable and Nuclear. Due to continued growth, we are looking for civil engineers at various levels ideally with experience in Highway projects.

You’ll carry out work on Energy projects, fulfilling tasks including

  • Collaboration with civil engineers, urban planners, and transportation experts to create road designs that meet functional requirements.
  • Development of detailed plans for new roads, road extensions, or modifications to existing roadways.
  • Consideration of factors such as traffic flow, safety, environmental impact, and aesthetics.
  • Determining the alignment (horizontal and vertical) of roads, including curves, slopes, and intersections.
  • Optimizing road geometry to ensure smooth traffic flow, minimizing accidents, and accommodating pedestrians and cyclists.
  • Selection of appropriate materials for road construction (e.g., asphalt, concrete).
  • Specification of construction details, cross-sections, and pavement thickness.
  • Assessment of environmental impact and incorporation of sustainable practices.
  • Consideration of drainage, landscaping, and noise reduction.
  • Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, Bentley Inroads, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge on current EU highway design standards, safety guidelines, and legal requirements.
  • Experience with road design projects.
