An established civil consultancy in Canberra is growing its civil team of 7 engineers and looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to play a key role in delivering major building infrastructure projects.

Recent and upcoming work includes high-profile assignments such as the War Memorial redevelopment, numerous hospitals, and theatres, spanning from master planning and business cases through to detailed documentation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading the preparation and management of civil design and documentation packages, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery within budget
• Coordinating with clients, authorities (especially ACT Government agencies), stakeholders, and the wider design team to resolve design challenges and integrate civil infrastructure
• Preparing proposals, managing project costs, and overseeing delivery
• Applying technical knowledge to develop practical solutions for drains, stormwater, roads, pavements, retaining walls, water and sewer mains
• Building strong client relationships, particularly with government agencies, and growing your network
• Contributing to business growth and supporting the team through mentoring and leadership
