QUALIFICATIONS

• 8–15 years of experience in municipal civil/environmental engineering
• New York State PE license
• Strong technical background in water, wastewater, stormwater, and site/civil systems
• Leadership skills and experience mentoring staff
• Willingness to travel to job sites and engage directly with clients
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

ABOUT THE ROLE

Cedarwood Engineering is seeking a licensed Senior Civil/Environmental Engineer with 8–15 years of municipal experience. You’ll lead water, wastewater, stormwater, and site/civil projects from design through construction, mentor junior staff, and maintain strong client relationships across New York State.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead design and project management for civil/water/wastewater/stormwater projects
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians
• Coordinate directly with municipalities, contractors, and regulatory agencies
• Provide field oversight and ensure project delivery
• Contribute to client growth and long-term relationships
