ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you an experienced Civil Engineer looking for the next step in your career? Due to a strong pipeline of new project work we are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer based in our Newcastle office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team of social and professional engineers to deliver great projects.
You will be working on and leading projects across a range of sectors including land development, rail, transport and more.

DAY TO DAY TASKS WOULD INVOLVE:

  • Manage project teams and provide accurate and efficient engineering services in accordance with project times and budgets.
  • Produce high-quality design and drafting outputs for successful project delivery.
  • Manage and oversee projects to ensure technical excellence and commercial viability.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for the completion of design and documentation.
  • Develop strong working relationships with new and existing clients.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL FOR THIS ROLE YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in consulting field and/or recognised as a senior engineer in your current role.
  • Professional Engineering registration.
  • Strong technical expertise and ability to produce accurate design documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in time management and organisational skills including the ability to manage resources and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Ongoing commitment to professional development through self-study, training and seminars, and maintaining your Continual Professional Development (CPD)
