We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer with expertise in utilities, water, wastewater, and water resource projects to manage projects throughout Southern California. This Position is based in San Diego, CA.
The Senior Civil Engineer will lead impactful infrastructure projects that improve water systems and sustainability throughout Southern California. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil engineering design, project management, and regulatory compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in California.
8+ years of experience in water, wastewater, or utility engineering.
Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, or similar.
Strong understanding of hydraulic modeling, pipeline systems, and treatment facility design.
Familiarity with permitting processes, environmental regulations, and funding mechanisms.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with recycled water, stormwater management, and flood control projects.
Knowledge of California water policies, permitting agencies, and grant funding opportunities.
Project management certification (PMP) or equivalent experience.
