Are you a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer who wants to be responsible for overseeing and managing various civil engineering projects from conception to completion? Are you looking to advance your career into leadership? We have an exciting opportunity to lead a team of Civil Engineering professionals.
Working primarily across the water discipline to support our wider civil projects, you’ll want to work closely with other engineers, architects, and construction professionals to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.
  • Have Chartered professional engineer status / Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) qualified with 8 to 10 years experience working as a civil engineer.
  • Experience in allocation of team resources, both internal and external, to successfully deliver services to client requirements and add value to client projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in civil design, pavements, and earthworks for various development sites
  • Experience in overseeing and leading outputs for Stormwater Management Plans (SMPs), Hydrologic Impact Assessments (HIAs), Flood Studies, general stormwater/flood correspondence and Drainage Studies
  • Strong technical skills, from first principles to using software.
  • Proficient in utilising Australian Standards relevant to Civil Design.
  • Proven track record of coordinating resources, designs, and projects.
  • Experience in interacting with clients and project teams, agreeing on deliverables, and managing resources to deliver projects.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Willing and able to mentor young engineers.
