From runways and taxiways to airfield lighting and de-icing facilities, you’ll provide strategic direction, mentor junior engineers, and ensure technical excellence across multidisciplinary teams. This is your chance to shape the future of aviation while advancing into a leadership role within a growing organization. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Your Impact * Lead and oversee conceptual, functional, and detailed design phases for major airport infrastructure projects. * Provide technical leadership and ensure compliance with TP312, ICAO, and FAA standards. * Manage project delivery including scope, budget, schedule, and risk mitigation strategies. * Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence. * Engage with senior stakeholders and clients to build strong relationships and deliver strategic solutions. * Drive innovation in design methodologies, sustainability practices, and digital tools. * Champion quality assurance and continuous improvement across all deliverables. * Contribute to business development, including proposal leadership and client presentations. * Represent WSP at industry forums and maintain thought leadership in aviation engineering. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Skills That Set You Apart * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. * Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario or eligible for registration. * 10+ years of progressive engineering experience with a strong focus on aviation infrastructure. * Proven track record in leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects. * Expertise in TP312 5th Edition and familiarity with ICAO/FAA standards. * Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools. * Strong business acumen and ability to influence strategic decisions. * Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills. * Willingness to travel for client and project needs. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why Choose WSP?
