Senior Civil & Structural Design Engineer

REQUIREMENTS:

1) A degree in Civil Engineering from a university or its equivalent that is recognized by the Professional Engineer Board, Singapore.
2) Minimum 6 years of design experience in Building projects and/or Earth Retaining Structures.
3) Competent in common engineering design software, analytical tools and/or BIM software.
4) Familiar with relevant regulations and authority submissions and capable of leading the entire submissions process.
5) Knowledge of BIM processes.
6) Competent in foundation, precast concrete and steel works design.
7) Familiarity with MET and Post-tensioned concrete will be an added advantage.
8) Conversant with local codes.
9) Capable of working independently, carrying out design and leading the C&S design in a project.
10) Good planning, organisational and communication skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

1) Lead and perform Civil/Structural engineering design and BIM process.
2) Prepare technical specifications and manage projects.
3) Conduct feasibility study, engineering assessment and prepare technical report.
4) Carry out site inspections and technical reviews, when necessary.
5) Design management and participation in the successful delivery of projects.
6) Attend meetings, reporting and design matters.
7) Liaise with fellow Engineers and/or Consultant team.
