Full time, continuing position with the University of Sydney as a Senior Clarity Analyst Drive strategic decision-making by providing critical insights and recommendations based on comprehensive data analysis, ensuring the University's projects are aligned with its strategic objectives Base Salary $146,197 - $154,260 + 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Strategic Program Office is pivotal in executing the Sydney in 2032 strategy, contributing to our vision of becoming "a better place to work, and a place that works better." Significant strategic initiatives are already in progress and as we enter the third year of strategy implementation, the University must continue to successfully deliver numerous initiatives, programs, and projects to achieve our 2032 goals. The Senior Clarity Analyst is responsible for the end-to-end functional design, configuration and development, uplift, user experience, training and reporting processes for the Clarity system. Thus, providing critical insights into portfolio performance through a well-configured and fit-for-purpose Clarity platform. The role further involves collecting, analysing, and synthesising data from portfolio projects to create comprehensive reports and dashboards for university stakeholders. In addition to supporting the Head of Program Insights, they take a proactive role in enhancing reporting capabilities through hands-on configuration and development within Clarity, implementing advanced analytical techniques, optimising reporting processes, and ensuring data accuracy and consistency across the portfolio. This role collaborates across the Strategic Program Office and broader Strategy portfolio to translate business and reporting requirements into Clarity functional requirements and technical solution design, including configuration and development, monitor KPIs, and provide recommendations for improving portfolio management reporting. The role also contributes to the continuous improvement of the portfolio performance data management and reporting framework. The Senior Clarity Analyst plays a crucial support role by ensuring the Clarity system is fit for purpose, is actively configured and evolved to incorporate new parameters and functionality and seeks to benefit from other Clarity blueprints and templates across the University. Through their analytical skills and attention to detail, they help deliver reliable and consistent project information, laying the groundwork for effective project governance and control. Their ability to optimise reporting processes and communicate complex data insights makes them an essential resource for the Strategic Program Office. Your key responsibilities will be to: own the configuration, development and continuous improvement of the Clarity system support the Head of Program Insights in aligning reporting outputs with strategic University objectives ensure Clarity can support in-depth data analysis through appropriate configuration of objects, attributes, workflows and reporting structures to identify patterns, trends, and potential risks across the portfolio assess, design and implement Clarity configuration changes associated with new functionality releases, including impact assessment, regression considerations and stakeholder communication provide high-level data analysis and interpretation, transforming complex data sets into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations ensure clear and concise reporting that facilitates understanding and decision-making at all levels of the organisation develop training materials and deliver training sessions for Clarity users, and lead discussions with stakeholders to explore ways to enhance performance reporting and achieve strategic outcomes. About you: demonstrated hands-on experience configuring and developing with Broadcom Clarity PPM, including objects, attributes, workflows, financials and reporting bachelor’s degree and/or an equivalent combination of training and experience demonstrated experience in applying and advising on portfolio and investment management practices, supported by methodologies such asPrince2, P3M3, PMBok or equivalent experience in designing and implementing whole-of-organisation processes that are consultative and encourage support and buy-in from diverse stakeholders. experience in stakeholder engagement with broad and diverse groups resulting in valuable stakeholder input. The ability to develop/cultivate productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels working understanding and current knowledge of relevant aspects of the Work Health and Safety Policy and relevant legislation (including Safe Laboratory Practices for roles based in Laboratory).
