Senior Client Accountant
Location: Stirling, Scotland, United Kingdom (Hybrid)
Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per annum
We are seeking a Senior Client Accountant to provide high-level support to the Head of Client Accounting. In this role, you will act as a key client contact, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of reporting across your designated portfolio, while also supporting the wider client base. You will contribute to the development of the team through financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives, working collaboratively with both the client accounting function and the wider rural surveying team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver reporting for an allocated client portfolio, while supporting the wider client base.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting in line with client requirements.
  • Support the development of the client accounting team and identify opportunities to streamline processes.
  • Collaborate with the wider surveying team to deliver integrated support.
  • Approve banking transactions in compliance with RICS Client Money Regulations.
  • Manage VAT returns and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

About You

  • Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Xero.
  • Proven experience in management and year-end reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to professional development.
