Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s network clients, including both financial services and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, Visa Consulting and Analytics solves the most strategic problems for our clients.
The North American (NA) PxD and Digital Consulting Team within VCA provides consulting solutions and services for Visa’s clients across the payment’s ecosystem including Issuers, Merchants, Processor/Acquirers, and Fintech in US and Canada. We are in love with all things digital and push the boundaries on how we continuously reimagine our solutions for our clients.
The VCA team is looking for a Senior Manager to join our Product Experience Design (PxD) and Digital consulting practice and play a role in developing high impact projects for Visa’s clients in the North America region. This role is responsible for the digital and loyalty strategy, customer experience, and customer-first views on how we would build, target, retain, attract, and promote our client’s programs and strategies. This role works together with our segment partners and Visa Marketing Services team to collaborate and solve all our client solutions.

Potential engagements could include loyalty program and value prop development, digital experience assessments, customer research and measurement, and acquisition and engagement strategy. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Proactively engage with Visa internal teams in regular strategic & planning discussions
  • Lead consulting initiatives and contribute to closing engagements by identifying potential opportunities with merchant clients.
  • Develop frameworks, approaches, solutions and recommendations that effectively and efficiently address the most impactful opportunities and challenges.
  • Build solutions and actionable insights that will help clients to grow their portfolios and customer engagement in their core business
  • Partner with peers in other functional areas (marketing, sales, risk, innovation) and across global regional teams to execute projects in ways that leverage the breadth and depth of Visa’s resources
  • Produce insights, analysis and recommendations to improve client performance, boost growth, drive understanding of client issues and provide strategic guidance for client priorities across the verticals and segments
  • Manipulate and analyze large data sets (industry and Visa) to determine meanings, insights, and recommendations for clients
  • Build new scalable solutions, toolkits, best practice documents and consulting approach that can be applied across VCA practice.

Incumbents applying for the role should be self-motivated, highly energized, detail-oriented individuals who will deliver strategic thought leadership, problem diagnostics and high impact solutions to clients support the growth and performance. Candidates must be able to develop enduring, strategic relationships with internal and external clients and across the Visa organization.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Outstanding communication and story-telling skills and expertise in using PowerPoint to convey your message.
  • Strong understanding of digital trends and experiences in the NA market (global a plus) and how they drive customer engagement, attraction/acquisition and desirability.
  • Love of loyalty, digital experience, customer insights and why things work
  • Self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently
  • Experience with design thinking, human-centered design methodologies
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and or payment schemes, including products & services, business systems and processes, marketing initiatives and card issuing experience
  • Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, able to work effectively in matrixed organization.
  • Confident meeting and facilitation skills
    Additional Information
    Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
    Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
    Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
