About the Role: Ashfords is looking for Senior Client Manager - Bookkeeping to manage a portfolio of clients while delivering high-quality bookkeeping services and value-added financial advisory support. This role combines technical expertise with strategic insight, helping clients improve financial performance, understand their numbers, and achieve business goals. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re a hands-on manager who takes ownership from start to finish—setting clear direction, coaching your team to do their best work, and applying calm and commercial judgement. Requirements: * Minimum 5+ years’ experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or advisory roles * Strong proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) * Solid understanding of Australian tax and compliance requirements * Demonstrated experience providing financial insights or advisory services * Proven client relationship management experience * Leadership or supervisory experience preferred * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Duties Include (but not limited to):  * Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping functions including accounts payable, receivable, payroll and reconciliations * Provide clients with financial insights, analysis, and actionable recommendations * Supervise, mentor, and develop offshore bookkeeping team members * Allocate and review work to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met * Assist with onboarding new clients and system implementations (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) * Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax obligations, and internal controls              Why Join Us?
