We are looking for a Senior Client Services Associate to join our Client Services team based in Melbourne, Australia. This role will primarily be responsible for providing exceptional client servicing across our Australian and New Zealand retail and institutional client base, and across both public and private markets.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of this position?

  • Delivery of accurate, comprehensive and timely client reporting across all asset classes and investment vehicles.
  • Serve as a key contact for clients, internal and external stakeholders, responding to ad- hoc client queries, research requests, and compliance attestations, ensuring all requests are answered in a comprehensive, insightful and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to respond to annual and ad-hoc operational due diligence questionnaires.
  • Coordinate with investment teams and our specialist investment managers to gather investment data and insights.
  • Proactive identification and resolution of any data inconsistencies.
  • Work with operational teams to ensure any issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Maintenance of ad hoc client request logs and client reporting calendar.
  • Track and report on delivery metrics across reporting categories, including submissions to internal governance reporting.
  • Maintaining excellent knowledge of regulatory environment as it impacts our client base.
  • Participation in projects relating to process enhancement and business efficiency.

What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience within funds management (preferably experience in Institutional Client Services).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
  • Genuine interest in and understanding of financial markets and investment products.
  • Highly numerate, strong data, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and resourceful person who works well autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Effective communicator with a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork.
  • Experience using CRM systems advantageous.
