ABOUT YOU

• Experienced in relevant reinsurance underwriting, client markets or another related function
• You will demonstrate good understanding of local country non-life insurance and reinsurance markets and are ready to broaden accountability for your client interactions and inspire a cross-functional client team.
• Experience in financial service insurance industry is of advantage
• You will have sound analytic skills demonstrated through an understanding of market underwriting concepts and contract wording, hence legal knowledge or interest to develop this is advantageous.
• Self-starter with the drive to take initiative and manage targets in a goal-oriented manner
• Demonstrate ability on working team-orientated, efficiently and under pressure
• Good negotiation skills
• Good knowledge of German and English language (written and spoken)
• University degree or equivalent preferred and able to travel.

For Germany, the base salary range for this position is between 99,000 and 165,000 EUR (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are pleased to invite applications to champion, develop and grow our client management and market underwriting segment. This is an exciting opportunity covering a broad range of accountabilities, including client relationships and business origination as well accountability for market underwriting.
We seek individuals to help ‘connect the dots’ across our client base. You will be supporting our ACEE Team providing an overview of customer related themes for the location. This encompasses primarily Core business and will partially include Innovation and Reinsurance as a capital management instrument. Increasing our profits, group results and customer satisfaction will be a focus. Leading implementation of our local market approach to grow is an additional important aspect. This will be delivered by maintaining close links with relevant Product, Transactions and Solutions colleagues to serve our clients’ best.
You will join an ambitious team, coordinating support to deliver excellent value to our client. The split across work segments will be agreed by country location. We therefore seek agile team complement who can upskill, coach, develop and adapt at pace to support across the range of varied accountabilities to deliver our new, exciting plans for the P&C business.
