Job Description A national managed care organization is expanding its clinical coding quality and education programs — and this senior‑level role sits at the center of that mission. You’ll lead inpatient coding audits, develop training programs, and partner with clinical teams to improve accuracy and compliance across a 28‑million‑member population. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role for an RN who thrives in audit, education, and continuous improvement. What You’ll Do Develop, maintain, and execute complex inpatient coding audit processes Conduct inpatient coding audits and review medical necessity against guidelines Design and deliver clinical coding education and training programs Identify training gaps and recommend targeted education solutions Partner with staff to resolve audit findings and improve coding accuracy Present audit results, trends, and recommendations to leadership Maintain training records and documentation Support updates to policies, procedures, and workflows Travel to New York twice per year for onsite meetings Qualifications What You Bring Registered Nurse (RN) with an active state license Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (or related clinical field with equivalent experience) 4+ years of experience in nursing, training, or auditing in a managed care setting Inpatient coding audit experience Current coding certification: CPC, CIC, or CCS 1+ year of inpatient clinical experience Strong written communication skills Nice to Have: Experience as a lead, trainer, or supervisor Experience developing training materials or audit tools Additional Information Additional Details Bonus eligible (8%) No relocation or sponsorship available Fully remote with limited travel (2x/year) Compensation: USD65000 - USD120000 - yearly
