Your role, your impact As Senior Clinical Coordinator, you’ll lead a multi-disciplinary team supporting young people with complex and chronic mental health needs. You’ll manage referrals, coordinate intake, and deliver brief, evidence-based interventions. Your leadership will foster a culture of hope, compassion, and continuous improvement, helping young people and their support networks navigate challenges and build resilience. Key responsibilities Coordinate enquiries, referrals, and intake assessments, including service navigation for ineligible referrals and capacity building with community referrers. Manage a multi-disciplinary team, providing clinical supervision and overseeing day-to-day operations, allocations, and workload planning. Deliver brief/short-term, evidence-based interventions to young people and their support networks. Support the team in case formulation, risk assessment, care coordination, and treatment for complex mental health issues. Facilitate team meetings, clinical reviews, professional development, and program planning. Arrange and attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Collect data and report regularly based on service requirements. Complete all organisational accountability and reporting requirements accurately and on time. Who we’re looking for We’re seeking a compassionate, courageous leader who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people and their support networks. You’ll bring clinical expertise, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to fostering hope and resilience. Experience in clinical leadership, including providing supervision. Experience in intake and assessment of referrals. Demonstrated ability to work clinically with young people and their support networks in the context of severe mental health issues, including case management and delivering evidence-based interventions. Experience in program evaluation/coordination. Strong communication, engagement, and problem-solving skills. Compassionate, collaborative, and culturally competent team player. Proactive, self-motivated, and open to feedback and self-improvement. Mandatory qualifications: Qualified and registered Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, or related discipline. Eligibility for membership in qualified field.
