Provision of a service to Sherwood Forest Hospitals, with responsibility for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illness, and the proper functioning of the department. The post holder is expected to contribute towards the teaching and training of medical students. Participating in medical audit, the Trusts Clinical Governance processes and in CPD. The post holder must at all times carry out his/her duties with due regard to the Trusts Equal Opportunities Policy.
