Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust are currently recruiting for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Hand and Upper Limb Surgery available to commence in October 2025.
This is a senior fellowship post equivalent to post CCT level
The Hand and Upper Limb team provides secondary care for the population of southern and central Birmingham, tertiary care for the West Midlands and beyond. There is a close working relationship within the plastic surgical team and a very supportive and educational environment.
This post will include daily ward roun ds and trauma list commitments as well as elective clinics and operating including MDT clinics . The successful candidate will be attached to the Hand and Upper Limb Service and participate in all activities . The post can include a 1 in 8-9 commitment within the on-call rota . The successful applicant will be expected to participate in audit/research.
This is a senior fellow post with responsibilities, training and experience equivalent to an end of training or post FRCS post . The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate successful completion of a Plastic Training Programme or equivalent , with adequate experience in hand surgery.
