We are looking for a Senior Clinical Imaging Applications Analyst to join our ITG EHR Systems Department at HCA UK.
HCA Healthcare UK’s Information Technology Group (ITG) is a Group IT function, developing and managing all aspects of healthcare IT across our portfolio of hospitals, clinics, outpatient centres, laboratories, and other associated businesses.
This role is within the Clinical Imaging Systems team in the ITG EHR Systems Department. As we look to increase our effectiveness and maturity in project and service delivery this will be a key role in helping us achieve those aims both in contributing to our day-to-day and in helping us contribute to projects and change management, to drive utilisation, standardisation, consolidation, and incremental improvement.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Delivering management, technical and administrative services to support and maintain live applications.
  • Manages application enhancements and supports projects to improve business performance or support business growth.
  • Advises on application security, licensing, upgrades, systems performance, backups, and disaster recovery needs.
  • Coordinating responses to incident reports, minimising negative impacts and restoring service as quickly as possible.
  • Develops, maintains, and tests incident management procedures.
  • Investigates escalated incidents, seeks resolution, and facilitates recovery. Ensures that resolved incidents are properly documented and closed.
  • Analyses causes of incidents, minimising probability of recurrence, and contributes to service improvement. Analyses metrics and reports on the performance of the incident management process.
  • Assessing risks associated with proposed changes and ensuring changes to products, services or systems are controlled and coordinated.
  • Investigating business situations to define recommendations for improvement action.
  • Applying the processes, systems and functions required to make new and changed services and features available for use.
