This strategic post offers an exceptional opportunity to lead and develop the public health research group at the Malawi Liverpool Wellcome Trust (MLW). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing epidemiology and public health research in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), with a specific focus on improving health outcomes in disadvantaged populations globally.
We are seeking a qualified clinical consultant in epidemiology or public health with substantial experience in LMIC settings, who is passionate about research, translational science, and building capacity in early-career researchers.

EDUCATION

• Lead the development and delivery of public health and epidemiology teaching within LSTM’s postgraduate education portfolio.
• Collaborate with the Education Faculty and Technology Enhanced Learning team to embed innovation in curriculum design.
• Support student recruitment and engagement, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for diverse student populations.
