As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a leading role in shaping and executing the strategy for molecular and genetic testing solutions in the rare disease field. You’ll oversee the entire product lifecycle — from concept to launch — ensuring that product initiatives align with clinical needs, market trends, and business objectives. Working cross-functionally with R&D, marketing, and clinical teams, you’ll help define value propositions, customer experiences, and go-to-market strategies. This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced product leader passionate about innovation, science, and improving patient outcomes in precision medicine. Accountabilities Lead the full product lifecycle — from research, design, and development to market launch and performance tracking. Partner with cross-functional teams to define the product roadmap, integrating customer feedback, business goals, and scientific advancements. Conduct market research and competitive analyses to identify portfolio gaps and emerging opportunities. Drive product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies to ensure strong adoption and commercial success. Collaborate with marketing, commercial, and medical teams to enhance customer engagement and ensure product differentiation. Manage product P&L, ensuring financial objectives and growth targets are met. Establish relationships with key customers and opinion leaders to inform product strategy and align with clinical needs. Contribute to defining user workflows and optimizing product experiences across clinical use cases. Travel occasionally (up to 15%) to support business and customer initiatives. Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred. 8+ years of experience in the life sciences or healthcare industry, with a strong background in product management or commercial operations. Proven expertise in developing and managing complex diagnostics or molecular testing products. Strong analytical and strategic skills with financial acumen to drive product profitability and market growth. Ability to translate scientific and clinical insights into actionable business strategies. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience influencing cross-functional and executive teams. Familiarity with healthcare market dynamics, regulatory environments, and reimbursement landscapes. Experience in customer segmentation, voice of customer research, and technology trend analysis. Strategic thinker with the ability to thrive in an evolving, fast-paced environment. Competitive salary range of $130,000–$150,000 per year, plus eligibility for a Short-Term Incentive Plan (target: 7.5%).
