This is an exciting opportunity to join the Sheffield Healthy Minds Mental Health Support Team, an innovative project delivering early intervention, prevention, and trauma-informed care in partnership with local schools. We’re looking for a Senior Clinical Psychologist to provide clinical leadership, helping shape and deliver our offer to educational settings across Sheffield.
ABOUT YOU: YOU ARE AN EXPERIENCED CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST WITH:
Doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology with HCPC registration
Experience in CAMHS and applying psychological theory in practice
A collaborative approach to multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
A proactive mindset and confidence managing change in a developing service
Reporting into the Clinical Lead (Healthy Minds), your responsibilities will include:
Lead a team of mental health professionals delivering school-based interventions
Provide clinical leadership to ensure high-quality , trauma-informed care
Work with Senior Mental Health Leads in schools to enhance emotional wellbeing provision
Offer consultation, reflective practice, and clinical supervision to team members
Deliver training to school staff and partner agencies
Undertake direct therapeutic work with children and young people
Apply psychological theory and evidence-based approaches to create tailored interventions
Support workforce development through clinical training and reflective practice
Lead on audits, service evaluations, and project management in collaboration with educational staff
