Headway’s mission is a big one – to build a new mental health care system everyone can access. We’ve built technology that helps people find great therapists with the first software-enabled national network of providers accepting insurance.
1 in 4 people in the US have a treatable mental health condition, but the majority of providers don’t accept insurance, making therapy too expensive for most people. Headway is building a new mental healthcare system that everyone can access by making it easy for therapists to accept insurance and scale their practice.
Headway was founded in 2019. Since then, we’ve grown into a diverse, national network of over 60,000 mental healthcare providers across all 50 states who run their practice on our software and have served over 1 million patients. We’re a Series D company with over $325m in funding from a16z (Andreessen Horowitz), Accel, GV (formerly Google Ventures), Spark Capital, Thrive Capital, Forerunner Ventures and Health Care Service Corporation.
We want your time here to be the most meaningful experience of your career. Join us, and help change mental healthcare for the better.
As the Senior Clinical Strategy Manager for Clinical Product at Headway, you will play a critical role in shaping our digital products and platforms by embedding clinical expertise into the product development lifecycle. You will partner cross-functionally with Product, Clinical, and Customer Experience teams to ensure our tools are safe, compliant, and designed to promote patient safety, clinical quality, and patient experience.
You’ll bring clinical insight, research, and patient feedback to inform product decisions, helping to drive roadmap execution, documentation, and training. You’ll also support clinical quality efforts, including incident and complaint investigations, and contribute to Headway’s quality improvement work.
This role requires strong collaboration, leadership skills, clear communication, and the ability to execute both independently and within cross-functional teams. Your work will directly support our mission to build a best-in-class digital experience that empowers clinicians to deliver high quality, effective, patient-centered care—at scale.
As the only tech-enabled behavioral health Managed Services Organization (MSO) built entirely on in-house software, Headway is uniquely positioned to transform the clinical experience. Today, we support over 40,000 clinicians and hundreds of thousands of patients nationwide—your impact will be felt across the country.
