Description
The Senior Clinician is responsible for providing therapy and evaluation services while supporting clinical operations and staff management under the direction of the Assistant Director of Clinical Services. Key Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities * Provide speech-language evaluations, assessments and therapy services for students in accordance with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. * Collaborate with campus teams, teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication development. * Document student progress, therapy sessions, and required reports in accordance with company standards and compliance requirements. * Prepare therapy materials and support communication strategies within the classroom environment. * Maintain a clinical caseload with billable service delivery and administrative responsibilities.   Clinical Leadership & Mentorship * Provide mentorship and guidance to Speech-Language Pathologists and speech therapy staff in the field. * Support new hires through onboarding, mentorship, and campus introductions to ensure a smooth transition into their role. * Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and support to clinicians to promote strong clinical performance and professional growth. * Assist leadership with mid-year and end-of-year performance feedback for clinical staff.   Quality & Caseload Oversight * Monitor clinician caseloads, therapy schedules, and missed visit tracking to ensure services are delivered consistently and effectively. * Conduct quality control checks of evaluation reports and clinical documentation to maintain service quality and compliance. * Review documentation and service logs to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with billing and service requirements.  Administrative Responsibilities * Support the Director of Clinical Services in monitoring therapy services to ensure quality and compliance with company standards. * Monitor clinician caseloads, therapy schedules, and missed visit tracking to ensure services are delivered appropriately. * Assist with recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and training of new clinical staff. * Provide feedback to leadership regarding clinician performance, including mid-year and end-of-year evaluations. * Mentor and support clinicians, including assisting with campus introductions, problem resolution, and professional guidance. * Provide coaching and performance feedback to clinicians under the direction of the Assistant Director. * Participate in weekly leadership or departmental meetings and provide updates on department status. Operational Oversight * Conduct quality control reviews of clinical documentation and reports. * Monitor timekeeping and billing entries to ensure accuracy and timeliness. * Assist leadership with resource planning and clinician assignments.   Education & Experience * Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. * Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of practice. * Minimum 3–5 years of experience providing speech-language services, preferably in a school-based setting. * Prior leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience therapy staff preferred.
