The Katoomba Mental Health Team currently have a vacant Permanent Full Time position as a Senior Clinician (Integrated Care Coordinator - Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2). This position will provide expert clinical skills and knowledge to members of the multidisciplinary team providing care to consumers of the service.

Responsibilities
  • Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA with post-registration qualifications in Mental Health and at least 3 years’ experience working in Mental Health, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the organisation.
  • Demonstrated skills in mental health and discipline specific assessments and interventions and experience working with people with mental illness
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team across services and settings including skills and experience in clinical support planning and integrated care coordination
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to manage a complex caseload with competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision
  • Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills and effective time management skills
  • Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel
