Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a visionary Senior Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and deployment of Digital Twin platforms on the cloud. This role will be responsible for defining the architecture that enables real-time data ingestion, simulation, analytics, and visualization of digital twins, ensuring scalability, security, and seamless integration with enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities Architecture & Design Define and design the end-to-end cloud architecture for digital twin solutions, including IoT, AI/ML, and visualization components. Architect data pipelines for real-time sensor data ingestion, storage, and processing using cloud-native services. Design secure and scalable multi-tenant cloud platforms for digital twin deployments. Leverage edge + cloud hybrid models to optimize performance and latency. Deployment & Implementation Lead deployment of digital twin platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery. Integrate simulation engines, AI/ML models, and visualization frameworks into the cloud environment. Enable interoperability with ERP, MES, and PLM systems for enterprise-wide digital twin adoption. Implement DevOps & CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, monitoring, and updates. Innovation & Strategy Define the cloud adoption roadmap for digital twins in line with enterprise digitalization strategy. Explore and recommend emerging technologies (AR/VR, metaverse-ready interfaces, edge computing). Drive adoption of open standards (e.g., OPC-UA, MQTT, Digital Twin Definition Language). Governance & Compliance Ensure compliance with data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, industry-specific). Establish governance models for cloud resources, cost optimization, and lifecycle management of digital twins. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 1+ years in IoT/Industry 4.0/digital twin solutions. Proven expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud-native services (IoT Core, Digital Twins, Synapse, BigQuery, etc.). Strong knowledge of microservices, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), serverless, and APIs. Experience with real-time streaming frameworks (Kafka, Kinesis, Azure Event Hub). Solid background in data architecture (time-series databases, graph DBs, NoSQL). Familiarity with 3D visualization frameworks, AR/VR integration, and simulation engines. Hands-on expertise in security, identity management, and multi-tenant SaaS architectures. Preferred Skills Experience with Azure Digital Twins, AWS IoT TwinMaker, Siemens/Microsoft Digital Twin integrations. Knowledge of edge computing (Greengrass, Azure IoT Edge). Exposure to AI/ML for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, or process optimization. Strong business acumen to align technical design with enterprise digital transformation.
