We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Azure Cloud Administrator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise in developing and deploying cloud-based solutions. The candidate will have strong expertise in Azure, AWS, and GCP architecture, cloud infrastructure design and deployment, and excellent communication skills. This role requires consistent on-site presence at the client’s headquarters- 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure design, including experience with Azure, AWS, and GCP Paas and IaaS services.
  • Proficiency in cloud-based data solutions such as Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS, or GCP Cloud SQL.
  • Strong SQL experience, including performance tuning, query optimization, and integration with cloud services.
  • Strong experience with cloud migration and deployment methodologies.
  • Expertise in implementing security and compliance in cloud solutions.
  • Experience with the use of networking devices to accomplish cloud migration initiatives including Cisco, Meraki, Sonicwall, Palo Alto, Fortigate, and Ubiquiti.
  • Experience with the use of OpenAI, Augmented AI, Cognitive Services, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence fundamentals.
  • Experience with Azure Front Door, Web Application Firewalls, Load Balancers, and Application Gateways.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, etc.) and Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft 365 products, including but not limited to Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Entra ID, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and Power Automate.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Azure certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert is highly preferred.
  • AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect and AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are highly preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and our clients to assess their cloud infrastructure requirements and provide guidance on the best solutions to meet their needs.
  • Conduct migrations from client on-premises environments to the cloud, including interfacing with and modifying networking-related functions of these environments.
  • Provide support and strategic input for LOB (line-of-business) applications, especially those relying on SQL-based back ends.
  • Engineer complex cloud infrastructures for both customer and internal environments.
  • Assist our clients in transforming their infrastructure to modern technologies and methods used to run line-of-business (LOB) applications.
  • Work with our customers to validate existing infrastructure security, performance and availability and make recommendations for improvements and optimization.
  • Lead technical customer engagements.
  • Act as a technical escalation point within the team.
  • Participate in deep dive sessions to share knowledge with other engineers and develop efficient customer solutions.
  • Consistently share best practices with team members and help create knowledge base articles and documentation to solve/workaround issues.
  • Serve as a technical lead for customer engagements, including SQL-related troubleshooting and performance tuning.
  • Provide advanced support for infrastructure-related issues and incidents.
